Recruiter.com’s CEO, Evan Sohn, spoke with CNBC’s “The Exchange” regarding the results of Recruiter.com’s August Recruiter Index.
Sohn touched on how we are currently living through a ‘tale of two job markets,’ as recruiter and candidate sentiment both increases, yet layoffs continue to make headlines, due to previous overhiring.
“Finding talent is a hard thing to do,” said Sohn, “The larger companies that were well equipped and sophisticated with tools and recruiters were able to not just hire the talent that they wanted, but overhire. That came at the expense of the companies that needed that talent but couldn’t find it. We are certainly seeing the rebalancing now.”
