Hi, I found out a junior co-worker started on a higher salary than me and got a promotion (to same level as me) with 10% raise (firm policy) to his salary… I started 6 months before him, got a promotion and 10% raise in January this year, have 1 year more experience, another qualification and now he’s on more than me (around €2,000) at the same level…. I feel undervalued. Do I ask my manager for a raise? I want to move to another firm but if that doesn’t work out, what should I do?
