Hi everyone!
I’m currently working as a Campaign Assistant for a non-profit. The work is in support of a vaccine equity campaign (hence the temporary nature of the job) and is being extended by 7 or so months.
I have been asked if I’m interested in a contract extension and I am enjoying my coworkers and the flexibility of my work… but I would love to be paid a bit more. I’m also not getting a 401k contribution since I was originally only meant to work for one year. Do you think there’s room to negotiate higher pay/401k when a new contract is offered to me?
I have been told they are very pleased with my work and would want to offer me a permanent position if something became available.
