For someone who wanted to move up the corporate ladder (ideally director/vp-level in tech), I’ve heard of those “lucky” opportunities like:
– company sponsors your MBA and promises promotion to leadership role after completion
– company sponsors your “paid rotation program within the company” and promises promotion to leadership role after completion
How do you actually ask for this within the company? or at least find a company who will trust and sponsor you? Are there other ways to get a stellar career trajectory without breaking the bank like getting a top-tier MBA for a top-tier internship/high management exit?
For context, I’m on “lead” role (not manager) in tech industry, considering pursuing a top-tier MBA worth 200K USD but exploring for cheaper alternatives first. Are there things like doing “free” work for a company in exchange for a leadership rotation program?
