Recently my friend (16) and I (17) decided to try our hand at creating a small company. Having no experience in anything to do with business, we wanted to combine our abilities of engineering /CAD as well as Web development and design to try and do something with prototyping and web development. My question is this: Is there a real market for startup prototyping / web design businesses? The main issue I see is a lack of clarity in the expertise of the business, which may sway potential customers. I also think we maybe should stick to one or the other, as it may reduce confusion. I know that we can do high quality work and are creative people, but finding a way to profitably market the skill seems impossible. Any advice?
