First off, I work as a Material scientist in europe in a small company and earn bit less than 60k a year.
I don’t wanna stay in R&D, as the pay and salary progress is not as great. People usually say u have to work harder to be successful, yeah I get that, but in what sense? I donno know what or how… like I’m thinking of learning python but I’m not sure if that would help me in the future… there are tons I could learn but not certain what would be useful in the future.
Im particularly interested in how people spend their time, weekends or evenings. Do you work or study or read to get a promotion and get a better position?
