Hi there, hope this is the right place to ask this question.
After high school I spent two years in college before dropping out due to an unforeseen health issue. Thankfully it was resolved after about a year. After that I spent eight years as a caregiver for elderly family members, but now I’m considering going back to finish my degree.
Since this was unpaid and I lived with family in the mean time will I not be considered for teaching positions with the large gap between college if I go back to school? For what its worth, I was studying to teach the first time around. I hope it won’t be an issue but would appreciate opinions before making the jump back to finishing a degree. Thank you!
