Possible Remote Work Overwhelmed with my Options where do I Even Start?

(Posted this on my other account and different page oops! This is where I wanted to be!)

Hey all so I have been in a bit of rut lately due to my own stubbornness. Long story short I have a super senior at my local university and I thought I was going to be finishing up in May turns out I have another year of college left due to prerequisites. Which is fine the bright-side is I have more time now to actually find decent work hopefully. I am a double major in Computer Information Systems and Business Management, however I prefer the CIS work and jobs way more more of my interest are based around technology, machine learning, data science, and data analytics. Anyways I have started to put more focus into my GitHub page and even started some Udemy courses on related topics; I am very much a self-starter self-disciplined person. I just feel stuck at the moment as I am currently leaving my part-time job right now to focus my studies and other big personal goals are coming up where I just don’t have time to commit to silly part-time job like I use too. So here I am overwhelmed with my options of possible remote work and could use some help or a road map at best.

I am willing to work jobs that are not as relatable to my majors however part-time hours and something IT related would be nice however, not a deal-breaker. To sum up this long winded post I am just sick of working jobs that I tend to have a hard time with. My city is literally service industry, breweries, and some retail and I have done a little bit of everything under the sun with what my city has to offer.

Would love to hear similar stories or advice! I am open to DM’s as well if by chance you guys might want to take a look at my CV for pointers.

I hope this is the right page to post this!
