I was recently yelled at in public by my manager for non-performance related issues. He has not apologised even after I told him that I suffered nervous breakdowns because of his actions. So I thought it’s time for me to move onto another position and began applying.
Eventually he will be asked to give a reference. I’ve received nothing but stellar performance reviews. But I’m sure he’ll ask me why I want to leave his team.
Should I just be honest with him and say he’s the reason? If I don’t get the transfer I will just look to leave the company anyway.
