What careers have the best work/life balance?

Hi I’m 21 going on 22 in a few days and getting married next year. I’ve worked in sales since I was 16 and currently make a salary of 59k as a GM for a franchised kids karate studio. I love martial arts, but I have no respect for the company I’m currently working for and I want better work life balance.

I would like to transition into a remote job, I don’t mind needing to relocate at first as long as there are opportunities for career training and I can work remotely in 1-4 years. I’m great with numbers and have always enjoyed personal finance, writing, and building relationships.

I accepted my current position during the started up phase for the entrepreneurial experience. The owner bought into the business thinking that it would be a somewhat passive investment, and gave me full responsibility for the day to day operations. My mentor has helped me build my resume, so I’m not worried about articulation my skills and transitioning into a new field.

I would like advice on careers that can make 140k+ within 5-10 years of experience. I don’t mind starting at a lower salary as long as there are opportunities to advance.

I have accomplishments with B2B sales, marketing, project management, and general management highlighted on my resume.

I’m currently looking for companies that have the most opportunities and the best work life balance.

I would like to transition into finance, so far the best companies seem to be the Rocket Companies and American Express. I’m open to other careers if they accommodate WFH and I’m okay with going back to school if the 5 year ROI makes sense and if I can start working in an entry level position within a year.

I also heard the government jobs might be a decent option.

Any advice for a young guy just starting his professional life?
