Recently laid off, what jobs should I focus on now that I am on the job market again?

I am hoping to get some guidance here. I recently got laid off (terminated without cause) on Friday. I was basically working as a CRM accounts manager for an education technology startup for the last year in Canada. Before that I spent 6 years in China teaching esl. I worked my way up from a regular teacher to a manager overseeing 20+ staff.

I am feeling a bit dejected about my chances here. I did undergrad for political science and it really didn’t get me anywhere. I’m also currently working on a project management certification. I feel like my chances for another job aren’t as strong as I would like.

Can anyone tell me my strengths and weaknesses here?
