I graduated this summer with a bachelor’s degree in History and Politics. I do not know what job I should pursue or whether to do a master’s degree. I never had a “dream” job or anything I was interested in, so I don’t know what job to do. I’m currently doing support work, but I know that I will not be doing that long term. I’ve looked at project management and recruitment consultant, but I just chose it randomly, even then, it is hard to get a job without experience and I never took any internships or courses as I thought my grades would me enough. I’m really struggling and feel so lost, and I don’t know who to talk to. It’s gotten to the point I think I might need therapy or counselling to help me. I don’t know what I want to do as I don’t have any career interests and I don’t even have any experience or internships to fall back on. I am considering a master’s degree, but I don’t even know what I would do. The only thing I know is I would like a job with a good work-life balance and would ensure I am financially stable especially in the midst of the cost-of-living crisis. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
