Can I succeed as a Business Continuity Manager if I’ve never held the title?

I’ll be interviewing for the role. I have experience creating emergency management plans and doing risk analysis on a small scale. I don’t know much about the role and I’m educating myself prior to the interview. It seems like something I can handle, although I may be overwhelmed at first. At least that’s how it looks on paper, am I over my head taking this on?
