I accepted a job coming up close to a year now, I moved to a new state about 850 miles from where home is. The job is great (most of the time), sometimes it leaves me wondering if I made a mistake.
I am really really unhappy in the city I am in. I don’t know if it would be better for me to find a new job where I really want to be in another state, or if I should wait it out to see if things change. I think one of the problems is that it is really hard for me to get out and meet people, especially since I basically left all of my friends. My girlfriend is planning on moving in with me from her home as soon as she finishes her schooling in December. We have been talking back and forth and have been trying to decide what to do.
At the same time, I am nervous to make a decision and go somewhere else and end up being in the same situation I am in now. I also don’t want to be a “job hopper”.
