I need some help! I’ve been working at a restaurant for 2 years and have worked my way up to management and am finally being told I’ll be salary by next month. I’m excited but so nervous for the promotion as I’ve watched all of my coworkers who are salary get overworked and spread thin. they want me to essentially work two jobs (manager and events coordinator). How do I set boundaries to avoid getting burnt out and to make sure I’m getting paid accordingly?
I’ve never had a salary position before and I’m worried I won’t know what to ask for or be able to stand up for myself while being professional.
