I’m hoping to seek guidance on a possible transition from instructional designer to a data science role. I’m with a good company, the pay is handsome but I’ve been so passionate about data science for a while now. I haven’t been able to afford a program or an additional certification until now. And almost anyone I speak with tell me the transition is impossible. So I turn to all of you fellow redditors. I’m based out of India if that matters. I hope to get guidance on whether this transition is possible or is it worth it? If not, what should be my next role after the instructional designer role?
Any advice is appreciated. Thank you guys!
