Best free (or cheap) online courses that would prepare me for an office/administrative job?

I am high school graduate and worked as a teacher’s assistant and now I work part time at a warehouse. I would like to work in an office – any easy administrative computer job, or maybe receptionist?

My only skill related to this field is English (I am not a native speaker) and basic computer skills.

My plan is to work on myself for the next two or three months – I’d like to take some courses or just read/watch a lot of tutorials and learn to navigate MS Office (mainly Excel) and then try my luck.

Did anyone else take this path and made it work? Was it hard getting an office job without proper education? Do you have any specific recommendations for courses that would look good on my resume? Is MS Office knowledge enough to get me this sort of job? Or do you recommend different approach?

EDIT: temps aren’t really a thing in my country unfortunately.
