I have a strong interest in discussing politics and current event, but I also enjoy science and math and want to use those to solve problems. Is there a way to combine those, or pursue them separately?

I have a degree in math and physics and enjoy using those to solve problems.

But I’m also interested in asking questions and understanding the human condition.

Like it would be cool to learn machines or hydro-electric dams or installing and running traffic control sensors for a city.

But I’m also interested in universal basic income and climate change and connecting with people from the individual level to the global.

You could spend a lifetime learning about AI or medicine or politics – but is there a way to do all of them?

And I want to make money solving problems too.

So what are my options?
