I feel stuck, can someone give some practical advice or steps on what options I actually have?

I have been working the past 6 or so years as a massage therapist. While generally speaking I really enjoy the work and excel at it, I can only comfortably work about 24 hours a week as the job is quite physically demanding and taxing. Even at only 24 hours a week my body always hurts, and I know this isn’t a sustainable long term option for me. I would love to be able to seriously cut back and do it more on the side, but I struggle to find what I else I can get into.

I average $30+ an hour with tips at my current job so anything else I take I want to make at least that much, or at least somewhat close to it. While this pay isn’t terrible, at the end of the day I want to earn more for myself and my family. I’ve considered doing more private massages as those can earn me more but that comes with its own cons and challenges.

I have my bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in math and stats that I do absolutely nothing with. I always greatly excelled in math growing up, and I also have an artistic/creative mind and a wide array of talents and interests, but have very limited demonstrable experience to show to any prospective employers.

I’ve considered getting into something like data analytics or software development. I started the Google career data analytics course but wasn’t sure if it would adequately prepare me to be hired. Software development seems rather overwhelming with so much to learn, and I can’t afford to spend thousands of dollars on a coding bootcamp. I applied to a tech apprenticeship in my area several months ago, but even though I did well on the assessment I never heard anything back.

I keep hearing all the time that everywhere is hiring but nearly all the job postings I see are looking for qualifications or experience that I do not have. And the ones I am qualified for I’d be essentially doubling my weekly hours for no extra pay which doesn’t seem worth it. I know I’m a fast learner and can perform better than most if given the proper training and opportunity, but I am just at a loss at this point as to what I can actually get into. Something that has like a paid training, or a couple months of unpaid training even, would be ideal but I don’t know what that would look like.

Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations for things I should consider or look into? I can answer any questions people may have for a better insight. Thank you!
