I’m a 22YO medstudent and I’ve come to realise that I don’t enjoy the lifestyle of a doctor, I’m planning on making the switch to something else once I get my degree. But I’ve always been interested in writing and was not given the option to choose something non-STEM as a career choice, I wish I knew back then that fighting against my parents would’ve changed my whole life but I forgive myself for not knowing any better. Now my question is, I love writing and I think I’m good at it, how hard would it be to enter this field with no training and what can I do to have a fighting chance?
