Hi everyone. I’ve accepted a job at a new company offering me 80k a year salary.
When I tendered my resignation to my current employer, they gave me a counter offer of 82k to stay.
I want to reach out to my new employer to see if they can match the 82k counter offer that my current employer is offering me, but I’m not sure how to do so.
As background, I have already “signed” the job offer at 80k with the new employer so I realize I don’t have as much “bargaining power” at this point, but I wanted to get everyone’s input.
