So I have 2 weeks of vacation per year and I just received another offer. Coincidentally I had my vacation scheduled (starting next week) just before the proposed start date (mid April) at the new company. I can’t inform my employer yet because I haven’t received an official written letter yet from the other employer. They will most likely send it by the end of the week or next week.
So I’m planning to start my vacation and then send an email to my employer that I’m quitting during vacation.
Is this okay?
