I am want to negotiate my salary. I don’t want to blatantly ask if the amount offered in the contract is the max.
For clarity, the original job posting the salary amount offered was a minimum salary of $33K and a max $43K. I got the contract and the offer was an annual salary of $43K. The confusion comes in because its $40K base pay and then and added $3,000 retirement fund.
I want to know if in the original positing their salary amount is before or after the fact (in regards to the retirement fund). In other words I want to know if I can get the base pay max of $43K in addition to the retirement fund. Or if the maximum is the $40K plus the retirement fund.
