Where do I draw the line in my future role?

So I recently landed a new role in Project Coordinating that I posted about not too long ago.

Going into the role I knew there was some travel. Maybe 2-3 days a month. The thing is this travel is typically driving in a company vehicle maybe 4-5 hours one way. My question is should I account this in my 40 hour week? And if they don’t account it for my 40 hours should I/ when should I speak up about it?

I’m a salary worker. Verbally during interviews they said 40 hours but the contract doesn’t state anything.

I am just looking to see where I stand need this be an issue. I’d assume it’s travel time for company so it does count for my 40 hours
