I’m hoping to get some help or job advice! I am hoping to graduate with my AA this May and once I have that continue my education! Well I recently decided that I wanted to go into Human Resources! So a HR position at my job opened up, I applied and got an interview. I unfortunately did not get the position as they said they picked someone with experience (which I understand). So I reached out to my supervisor asking if I should apply for the HR intern position, that way I can gain some experience and get my foot in the door. The response from my supervisor was “you can but I wouldn’t bother, probably still won’t get it if you don’t have your degree yet”. I was just hoping to get advice if you think it would be a good idea, and if it would look bad on me applying to two positions within two months!
