Is my direction wrong?

[ad_1]

Here is a quick snapshot:

– worked prior to my bachelors (shipping and forwarding agent) in an African country (age 18, 3 years)
– did my BSc in marketing in an Asian country
– worked for a couple of months in an Asian country as a marketing and business development intern
– worked as a marketing associate in an African country for 1 year and 5months
– did my masters of management (specialized in innovation and entrepreneurship) in North America
– 4 month contract for a tech incubator as a project manager) in North America (age 30)

Experience prior to my bachelors are not really counted towards professional experience.

Currently in Canada.
Total of 2years and a couple of months with mixed professional experience.

I am now just…stuck, it’s been 3 months with job applications and have had no positive results.

I’m not sure what I am doing wrong but I expect it might do with jobs I am applying for that I have no experience in.

– created a website portfolio that reflects my data projects (no professional experience in this field)

Jobs I am applying for:
– data analyst(completed one project using R and tableau) currently doing my 2nd using SQL
– research analyst ( I have published a paper during my BSc, but I have been conducting research for most of my professional experience)
– anything marketing (I assume this is the safest bet, but to no avail)

Can anyone help me out here in terms of perspective? Not sure what I’m doing wrong , or something specific I should be doing with my job apps?
