I work at a chain restaurant as a server and the company I work for has a very strict rehire policy and basically never rehires people. I honestly hate the job but it’s okay money. Anyway I have an opportunity for a full time job in a different industry that pays a little better but it is a lot more strict than my current job. Would it be wrong to take a leave of absence from my current job and not quit (this is something that a lot of college students do over the summer) and take this new job just so I have a back up plan in case this new job isn’t what I want?
