I am finding it hard to work with my NA colleagues as I am based in EMEA. I dont understand their jokes, they are way too personal about their life’s, they know each other more, they make more effort to connect with each other than they do with me, I dont think they understand the whole work-life balance thing. They always call each other a “family”. I have more dry humour, straight forward and always smiling and laughing. I am Central European but I have always gotten along with all different colleagues in my career in different parts of Europe, Africa and Asia. I feel like they do not understand me. How do I fit into the team and still be myself ?
