How can I progress in the education field from where I am now?

Hi everybody! My question is, how do I get a better job suited to my skillset? I am 27 years old, and I have worked for a WA state after-school program for almost 2 years now. I have been in and out of college, struggling to complete a teaching degree. The treatment at my job has been spotty at best, and after some recent changes (while I work my tail feathers off and keep being overlooked), I don’t think I can do it anymore. I want to go for something better that pays what I deserve for the work and effort I put forth. However, I’m not sure where to look or what I need to start doing. I have no degree, but I’m not sure how I need to go about schooling either. I love working hands-on with children; I like the idea of working towards being a para-educator, but I ultimately want to teach 3rd grade. I am open to all options involving this type of work culture/environment. I would appreciate feedback and resources of any kind so I can find the next rung of the ladder for myself. Thanks in advance! Can’t wait to hear your advice and ideas.
