I recently applied for a new position as a program manager at a manufacturing facility. It is essentially a project manager job, and when I applied through indeed, the salary range was $80-90k.
Viewed on Glassdoor, it says $89k-140k base salary plus bonuses. When I asked the human resource manager what the salary range was during the interview, they said $65k-75k.
That said, how would you understand and process that information? Can you recommend how I could tactfully ask about the variance, and/or negotiate myself up into the higher echelon of the range?
