Woking for AWE
I have received an offer from AWE Aldermaston for an IT role. I have just gone through clearance for nine months. I have to have second thoughts about joining. AWE offered a salary of 58k with a 13% pension, and the job I am leaving offers me 55k and a 22% pension (education sector). Daily 1 hr drive to Awe and 40 mins for the current position with two days WFH.
What should I do?
Any comments on AWE and what it’s like working for it?
