I am in dire need of career advice. I’ll be getting out of the military very soon, so I am closely examine my career options. Currently I work as a firefighter/emt which I love, but 48 hrs shifts have been rough on my now growing family. I’m considering maybe pursuing nursing, PA, or maybe PT. I love helping people and working with my hands. I’ve also considered going into a skilled trade, but the very low initial income is a hard to pill to swallow since I am the sole provider. I’ve heard a lot of negativity about the medical field recently. Is it all just noise? Any advice/wisdom is greatly appreciated.
