Going into construction fields?

I am active duty military and about to start using my tuition assistance. I did contract work before the military (18yo-22yo) and now I’m considering using my TA to get a degree in construction management or architecture. The job I have always wanted, as random as this sounds, is to be a seminary professor, however that career field is very atrocious as far as job markets go. I would rather have a stable job that can support myself and a family then chase unicorns. Would it be crazy of me to pursue a bachelors in the construction industry and then later on in life do postgrad work in seminary and if something opens up one day, awesome and if not…at least I have a good job? 23 about to start college and just feeling like I’m overthinking my options.
