IT PM Career Path- what next job shift is best?

I am currently a project coordinator in the utility industry. I have an opportunity to leave my contract to start a new year long contract at a finance/tech company that is well known as a program administrator. I also have some prospects as a project manager at other companies.

What is a good path to become an IT project coordinator? If you were me, would you leave to be a program admin or wait it out and try to go for a PM role somewhere? I like the notion of advancing but I know you’re not supposed to job hop too much.

Resume current:
Project coordinator, utility – 7 months
HR generalist, biopharma – 2 years
Executive admin, (same company) biopharma – 2 years
I have my PMP
