I’ve been thinking about not directly going to college and becoming an officer and getting a degree after my however many years I’m in service. (I still don’t know what I want to do as an occupation in the future). I can think about my career path during my service and if I enjoy the coast guard I can continue. The salary for an officer being 100k a year I feel like I can live comfortably. Any thoughts and tips or anything would be appreciated.
