Are Coursera certificates meaningful?

I’m looking to return to the workforce after a stint as a stay-at-home mom; I’m also trying to switch into work in Business Analysis or similar. I have work experience as a tutor/grad student instructor (among other things) so I’m not worried about the soft skills part. I’m also not worried about the analytical part bc I have two engineering degrees & did statistical research as a grad student.

The problem is that I have zero experience with SQL, Python, Tableau, Salesforce, R… I figure that the easiest way to make up the lack of direct work experience would be to pick up some certificates. The question is: from where?

Coursera seems to offer the easiest way of racking up a bunch of certifications, but that also means those certificates might not be worth the paper they aren’t printed on.

Any advice?
