For context I just graduated with a bachelors in marketing from a good state school this May. I’m 27, I currently bartend for a living and make approximately 60k a year. My issue during undergrad was finding the justification for internships, as the pay was always so low and there would have been no way for me to live solo and still be able to afford rent etc if I were to have taken an internship and quit my bartending gig.
But as of now I have no real experience to share on my resume/linkedin post-graduation that has any relation to marketing/sales/market research excluding class projects. Even most entry level positions require several years of experience in my field. Any advice?
