Where I currently work I have a 20 minute commute. And I make $30,000 a year. With no benefits besides paid holidays. Working Monday through Friday 8 hour shifts.
I just got a job offer of $47,840 a year. But it’s a 50 minute commute. With paid health, dental and vision insurance. And retirement plan and vacation time. Working 4x10s
Is commuting that far worth it for what I’m getting? I know that it would affect the wear and tear of my vehicle as well as all the gas I would pay. But it would be Monday through Thursday only. I am not sure how to calculate the amount of gas I would have to spend to commute that far.
Any advice would help! Thank you.
