As the title states my boss was recently fired. Since I joined in July he has been extremely hands off and provided little to no guidance or support. As a result I’ve felt like I’ve been forgotten about. The messaging was always that we would begin planning my role and what tasks I would perform but it never really happened. I’ve been left helping another sister team as a support person which was only supposed to be temporary before my actual role started.
Tomorrow I have a catch up with m bosses boss to go through my experience and what comes next.. I’m tempted to let him know about all the deficiencies and lack of care and attention but I feel like it might come off winy. How would you approach this meeting?
