Hey fellow Redditors,
I hope this post finds you all well. I’m at a point in my career journey where I could really use some guidance and advice, and I thought this community might be the perfect place to turn to.
For the past five years, I’ve been dedicated to working in the field of population health, which has been an rewarding . However, I find myself at a crossroads. I’m eager to explore new opportunities and challenge myself further, but I’m struggling to move up the ladder or find a fresh direction within my current role.
Here’s a little background about me: I hold an MBA in healthcare administration, and my educational journey began with a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts. Prior to entering the realm of population health, I spent nearly five years as a radiation therapist. These diverse experiences have given me a unique skill set and a strong passion for healthcare and improving outcomes.
Now, I’m reaching out to this community to seek your insights. Have any of you navigated similar career transitions, especially within or outside of healthcare? Are there specific paths, or industries you think I should explore based on my background (within or outside of healthcare)? Or perhaps you know of opportunities within population health that I might not have considered yet?
I’m open to any advice, anecdotes, or recommendations you can provide. Thank you for your time and assistance. I live in the Southwest of the USA.
Warm regards,
GenuineJenius
