What career should a chronically ill person do?

So I (20F) am a biology major wanting to go to medical school. However, I had cancer and I have an autoimmune disease and experience chronic fatigue. I realize there is no way I can keep up in med school so I might have to toss that idea. However, I heard of medical laboratory science and am interested in persuing that. I got accepted in a two year med lab tech program, however, I am two classes away from getting my associates in biology so I figure it would be smart to just get a bachelors. The problem is tho, I’d have to do an additional year to get certified as a med lab scientist and I don’t think I wanna do that. I could change my major but the only med lab science major is in another state which would cost too much money. What should I do??? Thanks!
