Next step in career??

[ad_1]

Hi! I’m looking for some help with next steps in my career as I’m feeling a bit lost and unsure of what to do next. For reference I know I want to make more money and I would like the flexibility of remote work since I have family that lives over 10 hours away and I’d like the ability to stay and work from their home without having to take vacation days.

I have my degree in interior architecture. Worked a sales role fresh out of college but didn’t make any commission so I left that (3 years experience here). I am currently a project manager at a residential company. It is a small business with little room to grow but the people are nice (2 years experience here). I’ve worked on a few commercial projects, but mostly residential (not tied to residential at all). I have experience in CAD, revit, sketchup, photoshop, indesign, sales force and studio.

What would you guys recommend for next steps is there a way to find something remote that pays more with my current experience? Do I need to go back to school or would you recommend something else? I’ve thought about going back for a masters in civil engineering not sure about architecture as the salary seems low for the stress. Also thought about construction or sales. I’m pretty tech savvy and love Autocad and revit. Would love to work with something that focuses on the tech side more but not sure where to go from here.

Thank you 😊
