I have been at my company for 20 years doing the same thing. I have reached a plateau at my current company. There is no further advancement. Years of service means nothing where I am at and is somewhat scoffed at if you been here over 10 years… but I digress.
When I interview, the big question is “why are you leaving? You have been there for over 20 years!” I have given a range of responses short of saying got to get out before they find the bodies buried in my cube. I have mentioned company reorg, looking for new growth opportunities, etc. Is there something specific for my case?
