I’m in the final stages of a job with the state of MN, a great opportunity for my career and financially for my family. I’m at the point where I have to do a BCA background check, but I’m paranoid that an incident 25 years ago may hinder my hiring. The incident was an arson charge, for participating in lighting a dumpster on fire. Young and dumb. The result was a court appearance and fine. This should be the only thing on my record, I feel like I’m being paranoid for no reason. Should I be concerned?
Thanks in advance for any input!
