I applied to more than 60 law firms with a BIG mistake on my resume – what should I do???

I graduated law school in May and sat for the July 2022 UBE (results pending) – my resume reflected July 2021 UBE. I checked my resume over thousands of times; the career counseling center at my school reviewed it; some friends & family read through it. I don’t know how this happened or how to proceed. Some were submitted via LinkedIn, Indeed, directly with the company, or via email (through referrals). I was able to replace the resume in 2 of the applications through their respective portals.

Based on what I’ve read online, I have 3 options here:

1. Reach out to the firm to correct it
2. Withdraw my application (can’t reapply though)
3. Hope they don’t notice – I don’t like this option.

I would love to reach out and address the mistake, rather than withdraw my application. I fear that pointing out this mistake may lead to an automatic rejection because they will think I lack attention to detail or am incompetent/liability. On the other side, it may show that I catch my errors and correct them. I attempted to write something this morning – it’s been hours and I’ve got nothing.

Any advice??

Thank you! Greatly appreciate your time.
