Hey all. I’m not sure where to turn about this. I am an American in Canada studying abroad in hopes of eventually becoming a citizen.
I turned here because I’ve always had a hard time figuring out what I want to study, and now I see that I am going through a program in a trade school, which is something I never wanted to do.
I’ve always been interested in sign language growing up, but I never learned any of it. I grew up in a house with a disabled sibling in which i took care of every day until I moved out at 21. I am 22 now for reference. I want to begin to see if I am capable of studying sign language in the Toronto area and if that’s something you can do with just a high school diploma. If anyone has any information about that field or anything at all, I appreciate it.
