STEM-field careers where severe ADHD won’t be too much of an issue?

I’m (19M) currently a sophomore in university, majoring in computer science, and about to start a minor in mathematics. I love anything related to the STEM fields, particularly revolving math, space, programming, algotrading, AI, etc. The problem is, I have *really* bad ADD/ADHD. I know most people just combine the two these days, and I do sometimes, since I’m both attention-deficit and hyperactive, but when I was diagnosed at 6, it was officially labeled “ADD/ADHD”.

Anyway, it’s always been a huge problem for me, particularly when it comes to time management, and even though I take medication for it and I do everything in my power to fight it, I’m worried that it’ll be harmful for me in whichever STEM industry I can get into, since those fields are really competitive and companies would rather have somebody with good qualifications who has no issue meeting deadlines instead of someone with the same qualifications who does have issues with that.

What possible career options in STEM (preferably in math or computer science) would be feasible for someone with the attention span of a moth at Woodstock ’99?
