Need advice and how to prepare for interview for payroll assistant?

Hi! Hope this is the right place to post, I have an interview next week for a payroll assistant position. I don’t have any experience working in payroll and this would be the best paying job I’ve ever had. I have worked with dogs since 2019 and that’s ideally the career path I want to pursue, I also have an interview for a kennel assistant next week but it’s less hours and less money. Now, I don’t want to get ahead of myself but I will most likely be offered the kennel job as I have relevant experience and I contacted the employer before they even advertised the job. I’m just wondering for anyone that does currently work in payroll, is it something that someone without experience could do quite easily or will I struggle? I would love the kennel job as it’s more the sort of job I want to do, but the money for the payroll position would put me in a much better place financially, although I’m not sure I will be offered the job as I’m not really qualified and I am terrible at interviews, I suffer with social anxiety and there is going to be a panel of interviewers which I’m really nervous about. Any advice, words of wisdom or encouragement would be greatly appreciated! And any interview tips? I’ve never interviewed for a job like this before so unsure of what to expect! Sorry for the long post.
