I’m working at a toxic startup…my first. Met the team for the first time last week. There was some very weird energy, aggressive over talking, a newly promoted “mansplainer” who seems to be in competition with me (and implied I was fat) and an incredibly unorganized management team with no intent to improve processes. The job is also not what we discussed and much lower level than my experience.
It’s the worse job I’ve had in years by far. Thinking about trying to return to a previous company that I left on ok/good terms. How do I approach it? Reach out to old managers?…HR? Apply cold?
