My boss requested me to fill in for my product manager while we look for a replacement after he decided to leave his position. My boss, however, expects me to complete all the tasks and update the former PM, and he reports this to senior management. This concept annoys me. If I am performing the job, I want to report the status. Should I accept this or decline my manager’s request?
